1.      Application form (duly filled in) must be accompanied by:

•      Passport with minimum validity for six months.

•     Two recent 2x2 size photographs in matte finish (Not older than six months) attached at the top right  corner of form with name written on the back.

•      Confirmed travel itinerary.

•      Pre-paid self-addressed, registered post envelope or courier satchel.

•     Appropriate fee in the form of POSTAL MONEY ORDER / CERTIFIED BANK CHEQUE / BANK DRAFT in the favour of High Commission for Pakistan Canberra .

•     In case you are applying to the Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydney , kindly make payment in favour of "Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydeny". Payments to Consulate General of Pakistan may  be made in the name of Consulate General of Pakistan by  Money Order, Certified bank Cheque/Bank draft . Payments  can also be made through Citilink Finance  (phone 02-92221802 ext 100) which is located on same floor as the Consulate. Cilitink accepts Credit Cards, EFTOS and Cash

2. If any of the particulars/information furnished are found to be incorrect/withheld visa is liable to be cancelled at any time. Incomplete and unsigned applications will not be processed.

3.  Persons proceeding to Pakistan on specific assignments (Business/Conferences/Seminars etc) should enclose letter/documents from concerned Pakistani company/Chamber of Commerce/ employer/sponsors  giving all details such as the nature of the assignment, duration of visit etc.

4. Persons travelling on Diplomatic/Official passports are required to attached Note Verbale from DFAT.

5. Application for visa from nationals of countries, other than Australia and Fiji , will be processed only if they are holding Resident Visas of these countries.

6. Both parent's consent duly attested by J.P may be asked for processing visa for children.

7. It normally takes one week to ten days to process the visa applications. But in case of extreme emergency, visa could be granted earlier. Business visa would be processed by next working day.

   8. In some cases, Foreign Nationals applying on Travel Document may be considered for issuance of visa. They need to provide all normal requirements; in addition they may provide reference/attestation inter-alia of invitees/address in Pakistan. Verification of address may be attested by a Pakistani Gazetted Officer, Notary Public etc.
