Processing of CONSULAR SERVICES will take place as per following time frame:-
I. VISA CASES:- (1) ONE WEEK [FOR AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS]
AUSTRALIAN BUSINESSPERSONS WILL BE ISSUED BUSINESS VISA THE NEXT WORKING DAY BY THE CONSULATE.
II. ALL OTHER CASES:- (1) ONE WEEK (URGENT) AND THREE (3) WEEKS (ORDINARY)
It is therefore advised to kindly apply accordingly keeping in view the above time frame.
WHILE APPLYING FOR CONSULAR SERVICES PLEASE ALWAYS WRITE YOUR TEL No. & EMAIL ADDRESS IN ALL APPLICATION FORMS.
IN CASE DELIVERY IS DESIRED BY MAIL, IT IS ADVISED NOT TO USE ORDINARY PLAIN ENVELOPS WITH STAMP FOR RETURN MAIL AS THEY CANNOT BE TRACKED AND ALSO NOT SAFE. THEREFORE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR DOCUMENTS ALWAYS USE REGISTERED OR EXPRESS PLATINUM ENVELOPS { High Commission/Consulate accepts no responsibility for any documents so despatched by it nor obiviously, it assumes any responsibity for documents sent by post. PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR VISA

Application

In case you are applying to the Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydney , kindly make payment in favour of "Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydeny". Payments to Consulate General of Pakistan may be made in the name of Consulate General of Pakistan by Money Order, Certified bank Cheque/Bank draft . If any of the particulars/information furnished are found to be incorrect/withheld visa is liable to be cancelled at any time. Incomplete and unsigned applications will not be processed.

It normally takes one week to process the visa applications. But in case of extreme emergency, visa could be granted earlier. Business visa would be processed by next working day.

Journalists/Media persons applying for visa may kindly follow the same procedure as given above and also fill-in the additional visa application form meant for Journalist / Media Persons.

VISA FOR INDIAN NATIONALS
Visitor visa is granted to Indian Nationals and Australian Nationals of Indian origin, who have relatives in Pakistan or wish to visit Pakistan for any other legitimate purpose and should furnish documentary proof in support thereof. Applicants should give complete verifiable addresses of the relatives / sponsors in Pakistan. Application should in particular indicate port of entry as well as details of previous visits to Pakistan, if any. If applicant had visited Pakistan earlier copies of visas may be enclosed.
Please note that visa to Indian Nationals with dual nationality would be issued on Indian Passports only. In other case / cases the applicant has to submit a Statutory Declaration duly attested by the competent authorities stating that the applicant is not holding an Indian Passport.

PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR PAKISTANI PASSPORT
For prompt servicing please ensure that you follow the procedure given below by filling the correct information, attaching the right document and paying the indicated fee i.e. URGENT OR ORDINARY.
(1) FRESH PASSPORT [PLEASE NOTE MACHINE READABLE PASSPORTS (MRP) ARE NOT ISSUED BY EITHER THE HIGH COMMISSION OR THE CONSULATE]
Fresh passport in lieu of an expired are issued if :
(a) Validity of passport
has expired or expiring in less than six months.
(b) All Pages of the passport have exhausted.
While applying for a new passport the following documents are required to be attached along with the last passport in original:
Duly filled in Form 'A' (for a person over 12 years of age) or Form 'B' (for children under 12 years of age. Both parents consent duly signed by J.P. may be asked for). Applicants should ensure that they write complete address with Tel No / Email. Thumb impressions of all the applicants (even for Children) are required to be affixed on the application forms with blue/ black stamp pads. Regarding signatures of Applicants under 12 years old, parents may sign the application on their behalf.
Three (3) recent passport size photographs with name of the applicant on the back (not less than 6 months old)
Two recent photos of each child under 12 years if required to be endorsed in parent's passport. Both parents consent duly signed by J.P. may be asked for.
Original as well as copy of National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)/(CNIC), Computerized Registration Certificate (CRC) in case of children under 18 years issued by NADRA duly attested by JP. Please note Old NICs are no more valid therefore in the absence of NICOP / CNIC / CRC a one year validity restricted passport will be issued to the applicant which will only be extended on production / presentation of NICOP / CNIC / CRC issued by NADRA. [All Pakistani Nationals who are not in possession of NICOP / CNIC / CRC are therefore advised to kindly apply for the same. All necessary instructions and forms are available on this website]

(2) LOST PASSPORT
A new passport in lieu of a lost passport is issued after verification by the issuing authority which usually takes six to eight weeks or more. Application for issuance of a new passport in lieu of a lost passport in addition to the above requirements also must be accompanied by the following:

ENDORSEMENT/ADDITION/ALTERATION/DELETION IN PASSPORT
Endorsement, addition, alteration, deletion etc. on the existing passport requires the following documents.
1. Duly filled in form 'C'
2. Original Passport
3. For inclusion of children's names in the parent's passport please provide the following
- Copy of Birth Certificate issued by the concerned authorities along with Birth Registration done by the High Commission/Consulate
- Copy of Marriage Certificate / Nikah Nama in case the mother is holding passport in maiden name
- Three recent Photos of each child
- Copies of first four pages of mother's or father's Pakistani passport, incase one of the parent being a non Pakistani. {His/her consent duly attested by JP is required.}
- Both parents consent duly signed by J.P. may be provided.
- If Child is already registered please attach copy of Birth Registration Certificate (BRC) issued by the High Commission of Pakistan at Canberra or Consulate General of Pakistan at Sydney. In case BRC is not held kindly also apply for the same.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT NO ENDORSEMENT / AMENDMENT / CORRECTION CAN BE DONE ON MACHINE READABLE PASSPORTS (MRP) BY THE HIGH COMMISSION / CONSULATE.

BIRTH REGISTRATION OF NEWLY BORN CHILDREN
Under the Pakistan Citizenship Act of 1952 all Pakistani Citizens are required by law to register their children who are born abroad with the nearest Pakistani Embassy / High Commission / Consulate General [As given in the last page of Pakistani Passports]. This should done within six (6) months of his/her birth. The requisite form (Form S) given below can be downloaded from this page.
Following are required to be attached with application Form 'S':-
" I / WE MAKE THE FOLLOWING DECLARATION UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA STATUTORY DECLARATIONS ACT 1959 : MY DAUGHTER / SON [NAME] WAS BORN AT [PLACE OF BIRTH] ON [DATE OF BIRTH]. HE/SHE HAS NOT BEEN REGISTERED WITH PAKISTAN HIGH COMMISSION, CANBERRA / CONSULATE GENERAL, SYDNEY NOR WITH ANY OTHER PAKISTANI AUTHORITIES IN PAKISTAN AND ABROAD. IT IS ALSO DECLARED THAT HE/SHE HAS NOT YET BEEN ISSUED ANY PAKISTANI TRAVEL DOCUMENT".

ATTESTATION
(a) The High Commission attests document such as POWER OF ATTORNEY OR AFFIDAVIT prepared and presented by Pakistani Nationals in Australia. Other Business Documents of Australian Institutions / Departments / Companies are also attested provided they are duly verified / attested by DFAT.
Pakistani Nationals and others while sending their documents may kindly ensure following:-
Attached copy of Pakistani Passport and NICOP / CNIC duly attested by JP or DFAT in case of Australian Identity papers. Photo ID must have same name and address as mentioned in Power of Attorney or Affidavit.
In case Pakistani ID like passport/NICOP/CNIC can not be produced, the POA/Affadavit may kindly be got verified/attested by DFAT before submitting to High Commission/Consulate.
Copies of ID of witnesses may be enclosed.
In case the documents are from Pakistan, the same should first be got attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar & Quetta.
A person residing in Sydney for the POA may kindly personally come to the Consulate and sign the power of attorney personally in front of Consulate officials and bring official photo-bearing ID like passport, NICOP/CNIC . Two witness may either come personaly or JP attested photo-copy of ID of the witness may be provided.

(b) Driving License
In case of Pakistani Driving License, they should first be verified from the license issuing authorities in Pakistan by obtaining a NOC / Verification letter from them and thereafter have them attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar & Quetta and thereafter sent to this High Commission for attestation in original. In addition attested photocopies of the Pakistani driving license, passport, CNIC / NICOP & requisite attestation fee should also be send.
Applicants desiring to have letter of authenticity of the license or requesting confirmation of name as appearing in license etc must also fill the statuary declaration signed by Notary Public or J.P. and submit the same to the High Commission or Consulate in original. This declaration would be enclosed in the letter addressed to the relevant RTA .

(c) In case of Pakistan Government Retired Officers/Officials their Pensions Bills will be attested free of charge. Before sending them to High Commission the Pension Bills should be got attested for Justice of Peace or Notary Public certifying that the pensioner is ALIVE.
